Weekly Theme-based Summer Camp with Field Trip

Description of the Camp

Lego Robotics: Does your child enjoy LEGOs? Does your child want to create and bring a robot to life? Join our insanely popular LEGO Robotics program! The campers will build different LEGO robot models from 500+ models each day. They will be guided in each step of assembling and programming their robot. Teachers will ensure that your child has fun and learns the core principles of building and step-by-step programming.

Mad Science: Do we make slime? Yes! This is one of our popular offerings. What’s a better way other than learning science with experiments? Do it for yourself! Every day a new experiment brings a great variety in this fun way of learning science. Do hands-on experiments, learn all about microscopes, and have fun!

Canvas Art: Kids will thoroughly enjoy being creative on Canvas painting / Cloth painting using Acrylics learning technique behind it. A week long project gives students opportunity to develop a theme working consistently being focused. They create a masterpiece at the end of the week 🙂 Kids love this class!
Campers learn tips and tricks step by step making it easy to work each day. We divide students to offer them age and skill appropriate assignments. Junior and senior groups will be working on their skill level.
Unleash your child’s creativity with our craft session, where kids will create wild creature themed crafts. It’s a fun and thoughtful way to discover wild animals!

Music: Dive into the world of sound! Our music activity introduces basic musical concepts through engaging games and lessons. Explore rhythm, melody, and harmony in a fun, interactive way. Unleash your creativity by designing and crafting your own unique musical instrument. Culminating in a relaxing and energetic musical yoga session, blending movement with the joy of music.

Drama: Unleash your inner star! Our drama activity lets kids explore the magic of theater. Learn basic acting skills, from voice projection to stage presence. Together, we’ll create a unique script filled with fun characters and exciting scenes. Then, watch your creativity come to life as we perform our original play for the camp!

Puppetry: Great for all ages. No prerequisite! Can be used as scripted drama activity / impromptu. Themes can be – Birthday party, Zoo, Holidays etc. Puppets work excellent with a young, shy performer since they don’t want to be in the limelight. Acting is also a great way to explore yourself. It’s nothing but action and re-action! Laugh a little, participate in fun warm up games and get started.

Craft: Kids will immerse themselves in the festive spirit by creating beautiful artifacts inspired by Christmas and the New Year. From sparkling ornaments to heartfelt holiday cards and decorative keepsakes, each creation will reflect the magic of the season. This hands-on activity encourages imagination, fine motor skills, and a sense of accomplishment as children design unique treasures to celebrate the holidays. It’s the perfect way to blend fun and creativity while making memories to cherish!

Cooking: Young chefs embark on a delightful culinary adventure where they learn the art of creating delicious treats. Guided by skilled instructors, kids explore basic cooking techniques, discover the joy of working with fresh ingredients, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for wholesome and tasty meals. Through hands-on experiences and teamwork, the cooking activity not only satisfies young taste buds but also fosters creativity and a sense of accomplishment in the kitchen.

Field Trip to Shoreside Marine Exploration Program: Kids will dive into a hands-on adventure led by expert marine educators at Marine Science Institute! Through interactive stations, they’ll explore the Bay’s ecosystem, use real scientific equipment, and interact with live animals and artifacts — all while building teamwork and critical thinking skills. A day of discovery and fun awaits!

Field Trip to CuriOdyssey: Join us for an exciting field trip to CuriOdyssey, where kids will explore a world of science and nature! At this unique science museum and zoo, children will get up close with nearly 100 rescued animals and discover interactive exhibits that make learning science fun. From exploring the wonders of the science playground to meeting native California animals that can’t survive in the wild, it’s an adventure that sparks curiosity and a love for the natural world. Clown Show Extravaganza & Face Painting Fun: Get ready for an afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and colorful fun! Our summer camp is excited to welcome a talented local clown artist for a lively, interactive performance packed with hilarious antics, amazing tricks, and playful surprises. After the show, kids can enjoy whimsical face painting, transforming into their favorite characters, animals, or magical creatures. This joyful experience promises giggles, creativity, and memories your child will cherish all summer long!

Magic Show: Prepare for a burst of laughter and amazement! Our summer camp magic show features colorful illusions and silly tricks perfect for young audiences. Expect vanishing objects, surprising transformations, and plenty of opportunities to participate in the magic.

Field Trip to Chabot Science and Space Center: Prepare for an out-of-this-world experience during a captivating field trip to the Chabot Space & Science Center. Young astronauts in training will have the opportunity to explore interactive exhibits that bring the mysteries of the universe to life.
